Poverty Reduction Forum Trust (PRFT).
The Feasibility Assessment of the Public Sector Investment Program (PSIP) Workshop hosted in collaboration with Zimcodd Zimcodd.
In attendence were Parliament Portfolio Committees on Child rights, Primary and Secondary Education, Higher and Tertiary Education, Disability Caucus, Local Authorities Associations and Represented as well as Civil Society Organizations working on Health and Education Financing.
The objectives of the workshop were to:
1.Relook at the PSIP as a financing model for public health and education infrastructure development
2.Interrogate the effectiveness of the current PSIP modalities
3.Push for the adoption of identified alternative PSIP modalities from the Feasibility Assessment.
The dialogue workshop generated commitments from policy makers and duty bearers to lobby for improved financing models for health and education infrastructure.
