RE-CONSTRUCTION OF MBARE MUSIKA
Minister of Local Government and Public Works Hon. Daniel Garwe today handed over the Mbare Traders Market alternative site to Masimba Holdings marking the beginning of the construction project, adding the urban renewal of Mbare as a whole is President Mnangagwa’s top priority.
The rebuilding of the market comes after a devastating fire gutted the area, causing widespread damage and disrupting the livelihoods of over 4000 traders. The new three-storey state-of-the-art market facility will accommodate about 10 000 traders and provide a conducive environment for commerce to thrive.
